KidsCo Ranks Third on AFR BOSS Best Places to Work List

Today, KidsCo Australia was honoured to be recognised as one of Australia and New Zealand’s Best Places to Work. The prestigious
annual list, published by The Australian Financial Review and Boss Magazine, is based on a rigorous assessment process managed by Australia’s leading behavioural science consultancy, Inventium.

We were honoured to rank #3 on the Government, Education and Not-for-Profit list, from over 750 nominated organisations across Australia and New Zealand. The assessment was made up of a staff survey and a written submission, with questions relating to policies, practices and programs that exist within our organisation to support and get the best out of our employees. The methodology is underpinned by Inventium’s Workplaces of the Future framework, which identifies ten key factors that are critical to employees feeling motivated and engaged at work and is supported by extensive research.

KidsCo Australia was thrilled to be recognised for our achievements and practices in supporting our head office team in:

  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Celebrating new additions to the family (babies or pets)
  • Personal and professional growth development and bonuses
  • Creating lifelong friendships with absolute legends

At KidsCo we support and empower our team of Directors at our centres to manage and operate their service with optimum levels of support and resourcing to ensure their centres operate at the next level. This gives Directors the power to make local decisions for their service, optimising and fine-tuning the delivery and integration with the community to provide an OSHC program that emphatically exceeds the expectations of children, parents and our partners.

Directors of Learning are KidsCo’s take on the traditional OSHC Coordinator. They are the owner of their service and are empowered to support the communities they operate in, delivering the best day ever for their little legends without the constraints found in many other organisations (say goodbye to split shifts)!

This is a unique opportunity in the market for ambitious educators as we trust and provide them support to decide what’s right for the families at their centre.

Inventium is proud to announce the 2022 AFR BOSS Best Places to Work list in conjunction with the Australian Financial Review. We have undertaken extensive research into what truly makes a brilliant workplace and we are thrilled to recognise many organisations who are leading the way with innovative practices that drive key elements such as flexibility, wellbeing and equality.
